Anyone Would Love Her

I think anyone could love her

The girl is oh so kind

In a dangling conversation

The words just align

In her manner, she brings comfort

She’ll calm you with her smile

I think anyone could love her

She’s so kind

Oh I think anyone could love her

She’s so kind

She treats no one as a stranger

She’s patient with her time

She’ll laugh or tell you stories

Forgive a lost punch line

In a world of cynicism

Sincerity seems a crime

But I think anyone would love her

She’s so kind

Oh I think anyone would love her

She’s so kind

So what am I to do to tell her?

How am I to read this right?

Does she hold infatuation?

Or is she just being polite?

I think anyone would love her

Given any afternoon

It’s a special kind of feeling

Like it’s just you in the room

Oh it’s kind of like you’re dreaming

Oh I’m not one to assume

But I think anyone would love her

No anyone would love her

But no one else would love her like I do
